1.What EasyShunt is

EasyShunt is an online marketplace and connection platform for transport work across Ireland and the United Kingdom. It helps transport companies, hauliers, owner drivers, freight forwarders, shippers and other organisations find each other.

The platform publishes jobs, displays driver and company profiles, and allows users to express interest and make contact.

2.What EasyShunt is not

EasyShunt does not provide the transport service itself and does not currently act as a carrier, haulier, freight forwarder, transport operator or payment intermediary.

EasyShunt does not employ or engage the drivers and companies who use the marketplace, and does not supervise or control how transport work is carried out.

3.Commercial terms are agreed between the parties

Any transport rate, payment arrangement, insurance arrangement, service level, collection arrangement, delivery arrangement or other commercial term is agreed directly between the relevant parties.

EasyShunt is not a party to that agreement unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, and does not process, collect or hold transport payments.

4.Selecting a counterparty

Users are responsible for evaluating and selecting the parties they work with. That includes satisfying yourself that the other party is appropriately licensed, insured and legally authorised for the work in question.

Verification features may be available for eligible users. Where a profile shows a verification indicator, it reflects only the checks actually carried out and is not a warranty about capability, compliance or conduct.

5.What EasyShunt does not guarantee

EasyShunt makes no guarantee regarding:

• job completion
• payment
• delivery
• collection
• availability of work
• pricing or rates
• vehicle availability
• driver availability
• company performance
• cargo condition
• punctuality
• any commercial outcome

6.Third-party information

Port information, vessel information and container tracking data may be sourced from public or third-party sources. Such information may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate and may change without notice.

EasyShunt does not guarantee the accuracy, availability or completeness of third-party information, does not operate vessels or port systems, and does not represent any port authority or shipping line.

Critical operational information should always be verified with the relevant port, terminal, operator or carrier.

7.User-published information

Jobs, profiles and other marketplace content are published by users. EasyShunt does not independently confirm every detail and is not responsible for the accuracy of user content.
